"Uzúl el - msélmin" (L'entrá dels moros)

Marxa mora / "Muslim march"

Spanish music - valencian style - inspired scene from ancient Al-andalus. Composed by our musician, conductor and composer Camilo Pérez Monllor at San Fernando (1914) for CIM Apolo's formation called 'Abencerrajes' who participe in our traditional parade "Moros and cristianos fiesta" in Alcoy. The title "Uzúl el - msélmin" is an arabic phonetic transcription.
The march was written for concert band and 'xirimita' in G, this fact and its own peculiar rhythmic accompaniment both forms one original goal.
